Shaftesbury Bowling Club Is Run And Maintained By Its Members, The General Public Are Welcome To Use The Facilities, Subject To Availability, So You Can Try It Before You Join The Club.
When can I bowl?
The Green is open from April until September.
Bowling is from 10.30 am – 8.30 pm Ring for exact dates and times.
How much will it cost?
Adults – £4 per 2 hours
Under 17 – £2 per 2 hours
Bowls are available to use from the Club House
Do I need to wear anything special?
Shoes that are totally flat – no heel of any sort (We can lend you some if necessary)
Loose, comfortable clothing.
Can you provide coaching?
If you are new to the game we have qualified coaches that are willing to help in all sections of the sport.
Can I join the Club?
By becoming a member paying the annual membership fee you have access to the green at any time throughout the season at no additional cost, you would also have the opportunity to join internal, inter-club leagues and friendly fixtures. Novices to the game are invited to join the Club at a reduced first year membership fee.
