Over twenty members turned out to give a hand and help with the end of season maintenance day.
The Greens team use a number of machines on the gree to firstly cut then airrate  and finally more air rating with a hug spike. 
This will ensure that the grass is properly airrated and has a time to rest until the new season.
Others started remoiving the pebbles from the ditch. (did you know these pebbles have been at the club for over 100 years). I must admit while taking some of the pebbles out I did recognize a few that had taken care of an odd bowl or two that had landed there.
Members also put a new coat of  paint on the bin's shed, while another team took the Club Sign down to give it a good cleaning.
A team of ladies were on hand to supply the hard workers with a cuppa and home made apple slice. Thank you ladies that was most welcome.The photo's seem to indicate that more time was spent drinking tea, but not so the men were soon back to work.
