SHAFTESBURY BOWLING CLUB OPEN EVENING

The Club will be open on Wednesday 2th April 2025 (6.00 pm - 8.00 pm) so come along and meet friends not seen since last year.

Pick up the coming seasons Club Handbook with all the fixture details, plus the opportunity to study the notice board, and enter your name for the first games and opening drives.

Membership with competition entry forms can be printed from the attachment to this e-mail or pick-up one on the night.

Membership Fees and Different Ways to Pay.

The preferred method for any form of payment is to use the On-Line Bank Transfer, directly paying into the Bowling Club account. This method shows your name and reference details on our bank statement making the coordination of payments easy to reference. The same details will also show on your bank statement. If you use this method, please make your transaction at least two days before the signing on the night.

There is no charge from the bank for this form of transaction.

Cheque:

You may pay by cheque; this again will show in the club paying-in book but not on our bank statement making coordination more difficult.

The Bank now charge 40p. for every cheque paid into our account.

Cash:

We are still happy to accept Cash if that is your preference.

A receipt will be issued on the day of payment.

The Bank now charge 0.40% cash paid into our account.

Card:

We have purchased a Card Reader that can be used for any

form of payment and will be available on 2^th April (Signing on the night)

A charge of 1.69% is deducted from all payments.

(Note: The deduction on the £80 membership fee is £1.36

therefore only the sum of £78.64 is paid into our account

It is important that we see you again at the start of the new season and as the Treasurer I would like to say that I am happy to receive your money in any way that suits you.
